Perf-boarders,

Anyone care to share tips and tricks for getting good results?

I like to take a strip of bus-bar wire and run it along either or both sides 
of the board for easy ground access.

Also like to use IC sockets, might start using transistor sockets as well.

AND, you can get the sockets very cheap at futurlec. No, they do not have  
gold plated inserts, and will not yield air-tight seals on your IC pins, but 
they get the job done.
