Indeed.  That's why I find that using an inkjet and special inkjet
transparencies works far better than a laser printer.  I've never
had to make the prints coming out of my Deskjet 950C any darker.
They're perfectly usable straight away.  A laser tends to be too
perfect and can show the dots from the RIP whereas ink from an
inkjet tends to flow out just a bit more and create smooth surfaces.
