For DC I am a big fan of the AD5663R series of DACs from Analogue Devices.
The 16bit ones are accurate to +/-8 LSB typical which is about 600uV
at 5V range.
They come in 12,14,16bit variety and are SPI. Also they are Duals
with Voltage out and on-board ref.
Get the 5V version.
Super easy to use and modestly priced. I use the 12 bit version on my
Quantizer and they are sweet.
