By strange coincidence, last week I rediscoverer the Peratech "PillS" I 
bought last year then immediately lost.  I had intended to try them as
"holes" on a woodwind style controller, but a brief test with a DVM 
suggests they require rather more pressure than is comfortable to give
useful change of resistance.  Possibly useful placed one at each end 
under a keyboard for aftertouch, but I guess trying to press one per 
finger would be seriouly hard work.

I'll do some more detailed tests when time allows, and report back if
anyone is still interested...
