Every rubber dome keyboard I've tried have had a "pivot point" (?) in
the initial inertia when pressing the keys. Very unlike spring loaded
levers. Still, they're on my list of candidates.
Are there any springloaded pushbuttons, like the TAC-2 fire buttons?
But with a very weak spring.
I frankly can't see how you would incorporate leaf switches into an
accordion keyboard in any simplier way than making the regular setup
of levers. OTOH if you do make the levers set up it's probably a
workable idea to make them work like leaf switches by making the
levers of something conductive and having them coming into contact
with a conductive baseplate, then wiring each lever individually.
