There ia an interesting note on using a Panasonic ERA-S33J102V surface mount
resistor fot tempco in an XR2207 based VCO here:

I really like his idea of gluing it on top of teh Dual transistor. I've
since thought of doing the same with an SSM flat pack dual, and putting the
tempco underneath the chip, so it was just touching the package.
