Well, I'm using the frequency counter in my DMM, but the results were 
something like this:

110.0Hz
220.1
440
880
1756
3517
7021

Audibly out of tune? Sounded fine to me!

I guess analog precision is an oxymoron, and it doesn't help my 
obsessive compulsive nature to get things exactly perfect.
