[sdiy]: a good panel partner for Analog Shift Register

I have one of Ken Stone's Analog Shift Registers. I made a Frac Panel layout for it, but there is plenty of room for features or even another small circuit.

I already added an additional input to the shift register (for feedback or mixing cvs at the input). I have about half of the 1U Frac panel open.

My initial idea was to put a simple OR circuit in there so that I could mix clock/ trigger/ gate signal to feed the ASR (having that normalled to the clock input on the ASR).

Any other suggestions? Features to add to the ASR or circuits that would be useful with the ASR?

I have never used an ASR so I really have few ideas what might be good to include.

Thanx,

tony
