[sdiy] odd studio master

ok, i plug in the studio master and everything seems to work except  
the headphone amp distorts when turned up

  (prob the pot) and the pan seems to be reversed!!!  i pan left, it  
goes right, vice versa.....

how can i get this right?  how do u test a "pan circuit" i guess is  
my question

i am not sure if the main outs do this i will check tonight (if that  
helps at all)
