Continuing the minor hijack - it was the same in the UK. When I was a kid, 1
cent was roughly eqaul to one old penny, £2.40 = £1, so as Andre says it's
more liek back to normal.

The other way around though, when I was going semi-regularly to Paris in the
80's, a UK Pound used to get me 10 French Francs , I don't know if Andre can
do a similar compututation for the present day, the Euro seems to have
skewed things a bit.
