[sdiy] Is the 8048 in PG-200 software programmed ?

I wonder if the part called M5L8048-067P placed in the
PG-200 is software programmed, or just another
standard CPU chip ?... Is there any need getting the
specific "M5L.....-067P" part or just any 8048 will do ?
