Hi,
I decided to look at a home made power supply that I built many years
ago that uses the 723 regulator with a 2n3055 transistor, and rebuilt it.
I think the design was originally from Practical wireless magazine ?
after looking at the data sheet I see that the compensation cap is shown
as 100pf. ( pin 13 to pin 5 )
but on the veroboard I've used I notice that it is a 100nf cap.
I just wondered which value was correct ?
I'm also thinking of using a ten turn pot to replace the 5k voltage
adjust control to make it easier to set the required output voltage.
just wondered what everyone thought ?
regards Peter
