There are five patents covering various aspects of the 
Ondes Martenot:

US 1,853,630	Electric Musical Instrument

US 2,581,680	Moveable Tape Condenser For Electronic Generators

The first and last discuss the ring controller, the other three
are mainly about the keyboard.

If you ever find a schematic of an Ondes Martenot, I'd be VERY
interested.  I played one once, and it was an unforgettable
experience - the most responsive "synth" keyboard I've ever
played, and sounds like nothing else...
