Especially if you have Mk I Synthi-A or VCS-3 this is a problem and especially
on the early variants of Mk I. Moving away the effect burning transistor from
the board A onto the Synthi-A aluminium rimb and removing the heatsink for that
transistor (which creates a heat-pocket for the rest of the components) is a
NEED TO DO thing if you have the older variants.

The main trick is really to rebuild it physically but using the same
components. Not that hard really. Change caps!!!!

The PSU is "weak" but part of the character.
