[sdiy] 5Mhz scope enough for SDIY?

It's possible to miss spurious oscillations with a 100Mhz scope.
(Jim Williams, analog desgn superstar, has an article on this.)

But a 5 MHz scope is so much in advance on no scope at all, that I would go
for it, no question.
And whether or not you could actually SEE the spurious oscillations - you
could certainly see the SOMETHING was wrong.
Which is nice...

I could buy Telequipment D61a cheaply (and it's local pick-up), but I
was wondering if it has enough bandwidth for SDIY work - ie. would I
be able to catch spurious OPAMP oscillations messing things up ect.
