I agree - especially for manuals, where you need to have your hands free to
actually use the machine you're reading about, lay-flat is essential.

I got quotes for laser printing 50 manuals in colour, with spiral binding.
It worked out less expensive to buy a colour laser printer, spiral binder
and 7,500 sheets of paper, and do it all myself.
And after the run of 50 manuals, I still had the printer and binder...
