Scott,

I wouldn't waste time on the PC power supply. They are that good so it probably is putting out 11V. Your RS232 lines and disc drives aren't going to complain.

Don't forget to put a load on the 5V reg as mentioned in an earlier post. Otherwise the reg might not regulate. Also most 7805 type regulators aren't all that accurate either.
