I was dragged into a 'junk discount shop' on Saturday afternoon and noticed
that solar powered garden lights are this year's "must have" item for the
wannabe chav-set. Buy 5 for £5.
I wondered what will happen when they start to fail in a year or two and all
of those solar cells end up in landfill sites.
