[sdiy] Make Faire

I went last year and recommend it to anyone who likes to take the lid
off and tinker. Lot's of interesting creations, projects and people.
However, I did not see one thing related to DIY synths. Surprising since
there has always been such a strong community of folks into such
endeavors. Maybe this year synth DIY will represent!

Did anyone on the list go to the Make Faire in San Mateo last year?
Another one is coming up next month.  Looks to be quite interesting but
they don't give a schedule so I do not know if all goes on at the
fairgrounds or some offsite - and how late it goes to.  I'd be flying up
for either one day or both.
