hmmm... if they "deflate the inspired newbies" on the
list then the experts are uncivil as well...
otoh I consider it a service to newbies to point them
away from "paths-to-nowhere-that-have-been-trod-before"
Often when an idea seems to not be in common usage its because
of a "hidden weenie" that makes it unworkable or impractical.
I had to cut up a guitar to discover the problem of shorting
frets through the strings. Maybe I can save someone time
by them not repeating a failed experiment(or known problem).
I wonder as well if I have missed some posts... I did not
see anyone who was particularly uncivil (at least lately) imho...
