Hey guys, I'm halfway through upgrading and re-paneling this serge system
and I'm stumped on the bi-directional router. All serge pcb's i've seen
have ground connected at a pad labeled "W". This baord doesn't have a W
pad. It only has X,Y & Z.. which would be +12, +5 & -12v respectively.
Even more troubling is there are only 11 other pads besides X,Y & Z and
the bidirectional router has 12 I/O on the front panel!
The previous owner had Z connected to ground, Y part of the router and X
at +12v but it didn't seem to work right. Thought I'd ask on list before
calling Rex. I've started reading the lm3900 application notes, but
there's so many ways to use them and I'm not exactly a wizard with
schematics.
Anyway, if anyone knows how this pcb expects to be powered that'd be super
useful...
