Hello --
I decided to indeed have some boards made for this project, and they have
arrived and been tested. Several people have indicated an interest and
will be getting boards this week. If anyone else is interested they need
to contact me (offlist, please) fairly soon, as it looks like these may not
last long.
There was a question raised as to why there is no voltage control. Since
the chaos patterns change so rapidly with parameter variation, wide-range
voltage control is not all that advantageous. Since the circuit needs to
be driven by an external source, amplitude and frequency modulation of the
source can be used to modulate the chaotic pattern. The schematic I put up
a while back for another system had voltage controlled rate and pattern, as
do the more recent conplicated systems I have put together since then.
The current project is really a great way to get started with chaos. And I
am finding that cascading two of these circuits has some really interesting
possibilities.
