[sdiy] Half circles with Schaeffer Front Panel Designer?

How do you do half-circles using the Schaeffer Front Panel Designer 
software?

I tried using an upside down cap U, but it doesn't work very well.

I haven't used HPGL objects before, I'd be willing to give it a try. Has 
anyone else run into this problem, what HPGL software did you use?
