You know, I wasn't clear here when I said two courses. I was actually
supporting the idea proposed earlier in the thread to have two courses: one
analog and the next digital.
My original point was not bashing analog in any way whatsoever. I was
merely reinforcing the original post's concern that the digital stuff was
getting shortchanged at the end of the semester since it was crammed into
one course.
As an aside, I'm an EE and I consider myself an _electronics_ designer -
digital, analog, whatever. I think the digital vs. analog debate is sort of
irrelevant.
I did not intend for this to turn into a digital vs. analog debate, and I
apologize if my lack of clarity lead us OT.
