Howdy,

 If you are going for a pitch to control voltage
module, go to mark.godfrey at gatech.edu. Ask for
"ECE4803 final project". I am holding in my hand his
design that uses a LM2917N and a quad TL084, and a
CA3046 along with some odds and ends to make one. It
looks pretty simple on paper.
