having only joined this list recently, i guess i don't understand the history but, this seems like a pretty weak reason for not having digests. i'm usually not a very vocal member of the lists i'm on but, getting 50 individual messages a day about why someone can't stop to pay attention to who or what they're replying to has been a bit frustrating. is stopping to modify the subject line of your message too much?

apologies if i'm offending anyone here... but, i always appreciate just being able to read through a daily (or more than daily) digest. and this is an option, not mandatory behaviour like where the replies go by default...

thanks for understanding.
