Since the conversion time of the ADC0820 in the unit is 2.5us the EPROM
can be pretty darn slow and not make a difference. I'd suggest going
with a FLASH part so you don't have to wait around for the EPROM to
erase. A 29F512 is the same price as a 27C512 at most places.
Of course you can also cram a 4mbit part in there too with a little bit
of work:

'cause every miniwave needs the full PPG wavetables with 32 banks of 64
waves each. :)
