Thats done under design Rules tab, one can set as many rules as one wants
in protel and i would be suppriced if other PCB packages didnt have that
kind of design feature.

I think the whole EDA business has stagnated, this silly idea about
limiting a package to 500 pins in a design and or max 4 layers
limitations is nothing but fraudalent behaviur to squese out cash
from customers and offing potential customers.

There is really a need for a Linux GNU tool that kills off
all these protels, cadence, mentor crap! I dont give a 5 cent
for the pricing idea they have, the bigger and worser
they are the pricier they get, mentor boardstation
on Unix who uses that today??

The market is small for EDA tools yes, but that dosent
justify the silly pricing of the tools. 5000euro for
altium, you do get a decent car for that money.
