on the off chance this will be useful to someone, i spent maybe 12 hours
sourcing illuminated switches and found a small profile switch that can be
useful for retrofitting serge.
following Steve's good advice to check into idec 8mm a18 Peanut Butter and
jelly's i found them to be too deep (1.3 inches and serge through pcb
pots only give us 1 inch between panel and board). if anyone is in need
of an 8mm through panel mounting illuminated "maintained" (latching) push
button, EOS makes one that requires only .903 inches as opposed to the
IDEC a18's 1.3 inches.
allen and bradly might have something, but rockwell automations host of
websites and subsidiaries (dairies? for milking consumers) is tangled and
impossible to navigate.
