are worth recovering (a decent plug & socket costs a hell of a lot more 
than a handful of bypass caps!)

And grab any oddball cables. You never know....
Plus, check ebay just in case some of this stuff is still
wanted, somewhere. EG old tapedecks can be worth $$$
for parts.
