[sdiy] network synth update

Greetings,

I've been steadily working on my netsynth code and have finally
gotten some of the basics working. I have a network of three of
my cansynth boards. The core code handles sending and receiving
signals automatically. Patches are created with a CAN message
that connects an input to an output. The modules are configured
over the network.

I'm pretty much ready to work on specific modules now, once I
decide which ones to start with. My plan right now is a dco,
vcf, and vca. All analog CVs will be mapped to CAN messages.

I've put my code and some (little) description at
http://krue.net/netsynth/

As for the interface, I'm wavering between keeping the usual
front panels (with illuminated push buttons in place of
patch points) and replacing them with a master front end
program.

Opinions, questions and help are welcome, though I realize
posting code in a variant of colorforth isn't going to appeal
to most coders. (niche in a niche in a niche?)

Just thought I'd post what I've been up to...

-- Daniel
