[sdiy] WTB: Farfisa parts (and about oscillators...)

Hi,

Breaking adjustement screws of the tuning coils of my Farfisa Compact Duo
organ has recently become a problem. Does anybody have a
broken-beyond-repair Farfisa that would be source for some tuning coils or
oscillator cards for me (whole cards are easier to remove)? I do have some
extra tuning coils from a Farfisa Compact Duo that was destroyed by fire,
but they're kinda dirty etc., so if anybody simply happens to have some
parts they don't need at all, please contact me.

BTW, the following Farfisas have the same oscillator cards in them:

-Combo Compact, Mini Compact, Compact Deluxe, Compact Duo
-Rhapsody, Foyer, Ballata

It's kinda sad that the tuning coils break easily and that them breaking
might result in a non tuneable-organ... I think it might be a good idea to
come up with some oscillator circuit that uses modern parts and that could
be used to replace the old main oscillator completely. Or hmm, what do you
gurus think, would it be a good idea to replace one of the caps of the
oscillator with a variable capacitance capacitor, so that the oscillator
could be tuned with the cap? Of course the cap shouldn't be affected by heat
very much - A friend of mine replaced all the caps of a Farfisa Compact
oscillator card with modern caps, but the card became extrelemy sensitive to
heat and would only hold proper tune for a short time (he used wrong kinda
caps I suppose).

Thanks for any help in advance,
Antti

PS: I got new parts for my Farfisa Professional from the same
"spare-parts-guy", he understood my situation completely. This time I
brought proper equipment including desoldering wick and got the
"mini-boards" out easily without any damaged foil :)
