*Connect the MIDI OUT of your QY-10 into the MIDI IN of your interface.

*Connect the MIDI IN of your QY-10 into the MIDI OUT of your interface.

*For posterity's sake, I would not hot-plug MIDI devices, not for fear
of damaging either of the units connected, but that in my experience
sometimes hot-plugging devices can scramble communication between the
two and a repowering of one or both is necessary.
