Here's a new idea

On the modules... use a D shell female connector
like DB-9 or DB-15, or DB-25 depending on the number
of patch points you need.

Get male solder pins and wire, a little heatshrink
to make patch cords

Youc an get right angle PCB mount connectors and
/or panel mount styles
