I've never thought about doing that before.  Is it possible to get a  
db read with and without
the clamps?  Also, are you looping the cable around the clamp or just  
leaving it straight?

I too have a bit of an RFI annoyance I've been chasing down and  
slowly eliminating.  However,
it still persists and can be quite noticeable at certain points of  
the day.
