Christmas lights are notoriously unreliable...
I would not want to gig with them...
I did make a string of LED replacement bulbs
for a set... ran them with a single series
resistor. MUCH better, still a little cheezy...
at $10 you are paying WAY too much for the lights...
otoh maybe your quality is higher...
