[sdiy] Cut-off for non-metric units into EC

Hi!

Three years away, the 2009-12-31 is the cut-off date for when non-SI units is
allowed in trade within and into EC. This includes even alternative markings!
So, if I understand this correctly, you may want to dicipline yourself on
non-SI units. This is a similar issue to that of ROHS.

If I interprent this right, units like MIL may be a dying breed. I think you
start to see the implications already there. You would just not be able to use
them in datasheets etc.

I tought I just toss you this, there is usually some good insight around.
