Any 3 terminal 'switch' type rotary encoder will probably do.  At the 
most you might need to make a slight tweak to the firmware to adjust for 
a different bounce time of the switches (ask if you need to know where 
to make this tweak).

Sorry I can't be more specific about alternatives.  If you don't find 
something I'm happy to order some in UK and post them to you - shouldn't 
cost much, they're quite light.
