I don't know about silver, but the trick with all spray painging is to
prepare the surface well. You can bus primers specifically for plastics,
for example. Don't be tempted to build up the layers too quick, or to rub
down before the layer has properly set. Patience achieves a good finish
more than any great skill!
www.port23.co.uk/tb303/3.jpg is a pic of the 303 ive just recently
resprayed. But that was in black, not silver...
Hey, if it looks real bad, then this wont be a real solution, but - a
selective solvent will take off the silver (kinda an off white plastic
below) leaving the black writing etc. on the case. Yes, the machine will
look pretty odd, but itll look better than a right messy case.
Ahh... Doh... Ive just remembered... I have some 606 tops and bottoms
knocking about here (& im in england too)

Ok, I have some roland XOX bits and pieces which I haven't used much since I
moved so has been more or less in storage.
Every so often I think I must check that the batteries are ok, there are
some patterns there I don't want to loose.
I check the minty 303 which I bought of a chap who found it new in box on a
shelf in Portugal in the 90's; batteries low but ok.
Next, minty 606, NIB and in great condition - no joy Hell a leak! my worst
fear. Well the electronics are ok thankfully because it was in its box on
its side with the batteries nearest the floor but the lovely silver
paintwork..
ruined on front edge - I am gutted. The crappy old scratched and badly
modded 606 is fine of course I will hate myself every time I use this poor
drumatix now.
please ,if you have batteries in anything holding patterns and you haven't
used it in a while FGS go and check it!!!
Anyone suggest a good silver spray for 606s?
