Cool! That must have been great fun! Ah, I see you used perfboard
instead of circuit boards. Did the original PAIA 2720 modules used
PCBs or perfboard? If a PCB, would PAIA object if anyone recreated
the original PCB and made the artwork available to others?

Speaking of PAIA, I just got around to finishing the last of the
troubleshooting of my Theremax kit, which was great fun to build.
Even though I was annoyed at first at having to sand, stain and
shellac the cabinet, I ended up enjoying that part of the kit as well
and am now glad that I had to do that. Looking back, it was as much
fun as any Heathkit that I built, and I heartily recommend it to
others. I didn't find adjusting the oscillators to be anywhere as
difficult to tune, or as tempermental, as some have described them,
although I cheated and used an oscilloscope to get them close to the
final adjustment. :-) Now I'm looking forward to making some
modifications as time allows.

Now to get back to work on the modified version of Thomas Henry's
SN-Voice; I'd like to use that with the Theremax, and toying with the
idea of mounting it inside the Theremax cabinet, adding hinges to the
lid (I didn't use the velcro that came with it), and lifting the lid
to access the much-modified SN-Voice, perhaps making a swing-down, or
pop-up, front panel that hangs under the Theremax's lectern case lid
to face the user, or pops up to face the user. Time will tell.

Nice! Have fun!
