Get out the phone book and look under insulation.  Find the industrial insulation places and call them up.  This stuff is pretty common in commercial construction.  The place I get mine from has a wonderfully descriptive name like "Industrial Insulation Supply."  If you only need a little bit, you might lurk wherever hotels or offices are popping up and look through the trash bins.

The stuff is called "rigid fiberglass board."  Owens Corning make versions called 703 and 705, Manville and other makers have very similar products.

The duct board mentioned by someone else is a very similar material.
