[sdiy] Fibreglass

Two items come to mind:
1. Fiberglass duct liner. It's black, fairly heavy and comes in a few
thicknesses (1/2" and 1" for sure). It's a flexible "blanket" type of
insulation, but it's not the same stuff they wrap around the outside of the
duct. Try to find a duct fabrication shop near you... they should sell you
a few feet. This isn't something you'll find at Home Depot... you'll
definitely need to find a ductwork shop
2. If you need rigid board there is a product called "duct board" that I'm
sure you've seen for forced air heating systems in people's basements.
Foil faced, 1" rigid fiberglass. There's a similar product for insulating
foundations, too with no foil and black stuff (waterproofing) sparyed on the
outside.
