Howdy,

 For insulation like you describe, i would recommend
manufacturers of large boilers and steam ducting
equipment. Especially pipe insulators. They deal with
what you are asking about. Also manufacturers of large
stationary turbines use similar blankets, with metal
rings along the edges to be tie-wired together, for
insulating the power tubine and exhaust ducting
sections of their machines. Any call to industrial
insulation companies or large piping contractors, or
boiler manufacturers should give you good leads where
to obtain this stuff. If you find the right company,
they may let you dig through their trimmings. Just mt
