Exactly, I was trying to buy some transformer steel price was under $0.20 a pound but I
would have had to take 1000 lbs. I might have considered 100 lbs., but the thought of
having to figure some way to get a 1000 lbs off a truck, move it and store it killed that
project for now. I didn't think a driver would appreciate me opening the package and
moving the stuff at 30 to 50 lbs at a time.

Anyone got some new transformer E and I steel they don't want?

I was surprised also to find that it's harder and more expensive to get al. than plexi
here. That's why I finally went with bakelite or whatever it is that they use, switch
plates.
