Hello

This is largely for posterity and to help other EMS owners rather than for 
immediate info. People may search this list archive in the future for "EMS" 
, "synthi", "AKS" or "VCS3" etc so hopefully this email wil be of use to 
others doing this work. The list of caps is taken from the boards, but is 
not cross-referenced to the cct diagrams.

This below is a list of electrolytics that would need to be replaced on an 
original AKS:  described as capacitance/voltage then dims in mm so that you 
can get the right sized body to fit on the board properly.

PSU:
2200/40 axial (radial would suit better) - diam = 25
1000/50 radial - diam = 25

PCB A
100/16 axial x 5 off - l = 18/diam =6
220/40 axial x 1 off - l=35/diam=12
2u2/16 radial x 8 off - l=12/diam=6
2u2/63 axial x 2 off - l=12/diam =5

PCB B
2u2/50 axial x 1 off - l=18/diam=5
10/16 axial x 2 off - l=10/diam=4
33/10 axial x 5 off - l=12/diam=5
100/16 axial x 1 off - l=18/diam=8
2u2/63 radial x 2 off - l=12/diam=5

PCB C
100/16 axial x 3 - l=18/diam=8
10/16 axial x 2 off - l=12/diam=5
