mike,

sorry to hear about your tragedy... not only are those chips obsolete, but they're non-ROHS compliant, so they could actually be dangerous!  however, i'd be willing to make sure they are disposed of in a safe, ecologically sound manner... for a small fee... heh heh.

i've got one of those SSM evaluation boards built up as a modular (and another one on the shelf), very sweet little box.  i got the datasheet from the emulator archive:

are the chips on the board?  it uses 2020, 2030, 2040 & 2050, which weren't on your list.  anyway, if you have 'em, it's definatly worth putting together.

nice find.  i'll have to mention this to my wife next time she starts complaining about by little stash in the attic (and basement, and garage)... "no, really honey, someday those 8-track tape deck carcasses will be collector's items... they're VINTAGE".
