at the time when i tried the package, i had an ms20 and i did try the
'identical settings' thing. now this 20 was a bit different than one
i had before, even rougher i'd say. but the vst version fell short
with some of my favourite tricks, like putting both filters to self
oscillation and then playing both cutoffs at the same time.. just
simple stuff. the original screamed where the vst just huffed and
puffed..
of course as a synth by itself, it's cool. but as an ms20 clone.. no.
