Thanks mr. ニコラス・ケント for the excellent answer on cleaning the
pots and thanks to Bob also. Yeah I actually opened my Polivoks before I
posted the question. The noise doesn't work on my Polivoks anymore so I
thought removing and inserting the boards again might fix it if it's just
dirty contacts on the board connectors but unfortunately this procedure
didn't help at all. However, noisy pots is the first thing to fix, not the
noise source.

Btw, about the noise source: has anybody else noticed how cool effect the
noise has on the oscillators when used as a mod source? The waveform becomes
super fuzzy and biting but still harmonic, incredible! That's why I'd like
to get the noise fixed. Unfortunately altough the "noise modulating the vco"
sounds great, it also affects the keyboard scaling slightly, making the
sound too out of tune when playing across a couple of octaves. I wonder if
there would be a fix or a mod for this but quite possible there's nothing I
can do about it.

About other problems of my Polivoks: The range of the cutoff knob only seems
to have an effect on the first third of the range (which covers the whole
range, so this is nothing serious) - is this a feature or is something wrong
there?

One weird problem with the synth is this: The VCA envelope, when entering
decay after attack, makes the cutoff value raise just slightly, but this
disappears if I set the knob controlling the volume of the headphones to the
max! I mean this makes absolutely no sence since none of these sections
should be connected in any way! What would an experienced synth repairer do
to a weird problem like this? Might this be some sorta grounding/shielding
problem? Has anybody ever heard a problem like this, I mean features
affecting other features that shouldn't be connected in any way. Again, this
is nothing serious but it sure is an "interesting" problem!
