[sdiy] How to remove battery acid

LOTS of arcade equipment had that problem as it got older and into the hands
of collectors. Taito boards (Qix and the like), Omega Race, Bally/Midway MCR
series power supply pcb's, Midway CCRS games, Stern pins and videos, and a
bazillion others I can't think of right now. When I repaired boards for
collectors I'd get a premium on acid damaged boards....and no guarantee they
could be fixed. I have a Tron in storage with the NiCd still on the pwr
supply board and I don't even want to think about what it looks like now.

Anyway, those who attempt NiCd damage repair should not forget to neutralize
the damaged areas before going ahead with repair or else the "cancer" will
continue to chew up the board. I used to use diluted white vinegar.

now...
