I would recommend to go with 3500 as well. Its not difficult to get a
measurement for the tempco value to figure out a correction.
(A simple way is using ice-water mixture and boiling water as
temperature references.)
Also it seems not really worthwhile to buy 2k ones if they're
essentially the
same price as two 1k ones.
